Role Summary
The Chief of Staff at ABU is a high-level strategic role designed to act as the "connective tissue" between executive leadership and the rest of the organization. Rather than a traditional administrative position, the CoS serves as a force multiplier, ensuring the executive’s vision is translated into actionable strategy and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Operations & Prioritization
Executive Alignment: Manage the CEO’s priorities, ensuring their time is spent on the highest-leverage activities for ABU. Performance Tracking: Oversee the implementation and monitoring of OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) and KPIs across departments.
Meeting Architecture: Design agendas for leadership offsites and board meetings; drive accountability by following up on action items and decisions.
2. Communication & Liaison
Cross-Functional Bridge: Break down organizational silos by facilitating seamless communication between departments (e.g., Operations, Finance, Marketing).
Proxy Representation: Act as a surrogate for the CEO in internal and external meetings when necessary, speaking with the authority of the executive office.
Content Creation: Draft high-stakes presentations, investor reports, and internal company-wide communications.
3. Special Projects & Incubation
Lead "zero-to-one" projects that are critical to ABU’s growth but lack a clear departmental home.
Conduct market research or internal audits to identify operational bottlenecks or new business opportunities.
